ABOUT

Andy the Wimbledon Mobile Osteopath

Andrew
Padden-Modi

Andrew's passion for Osteopathy started with a back injury from trampolining in his teens.  After seeking advice and treatment from a local Osteopath he then spent school holidays shadowing various Osteopaths in his local area where his desire to train solidified.

After graduating from University and registering with the General Osteopathic Council, Andrew went on to work is various clinics around the South East and East Anglia treating everyone from elite sports-people to concert musicians.

In his spare time, Andrew is a keen runner. You'll often see him running around Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. His running journey started in 2019 with Couch To 5K, and since then he has completed multiple half marathons, although a full marathon is still a little out of reach! Andrew also enjoys cooking for his wife, where he tries various recipes and techniques to various results.

What To Expect

Initial Contact

From your 1st contact with Andrew, you will have a brief telephone conversation about your pain. He will then ask about your location of choice, so that he can arrive in adequate time.  After this initial contact, all you have to do is wait for the door bell to ring!

Case History and Examination

Once Andrew arrives he will establish where would be best to treat using his treatment table. From there, he will conduct a thorough case history to become acquainted with you and your pain. This includes medical details, along with hobbies and interests outside of work. Following this, Andrew may ask you to remove certain clothing as to fully assess the area in question (wearing a vest and shorts will normally suffice). After conducting an Osteopathic evaluation Andrew will then describe the problem and fully make sure you aware of exactly what's going on and how to treat it.
